With a 20 year old secret recipe handed down from her parents, Mdm Ningsih has a humble ambition to localise Indonesian cuisine in Singapore and promote the true authentic taste of Indonesian cuisine to Singaporeans. To ensure this, all dishes (right down to the sauces) are prepared from scratch and ingredients are sourced from Indonesia. Customers can choose from a wide selection of more than 40 dishes daily which include their signature Beef Rendang, Chicken Curry and Ayam Merah. These, when paired together with Indonesian Padang’s homemade sambal chilli, gives the true Indonesian taste that the owner holds fondly close to her heart. It is hence no wonder that Indonesian Padang’s sister outlets, Padang Padang, at ION Food Opera was crowned one of the top 3 Hawker Kings at Food Republic.
