OUR STORY
Uniting People Through Good Food
Food Republic was founded on a simple idea: bringing Singapore’s best-loved street food and hawker favourites into comfortable, air-conditioned spaces.
Since opening our first food atrium has grown into a leading destination for experiencing authentic Singapore hawker culture, preserving and celebrating a food heritage recognised by the UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Through immersive, thematic dining concepts, Food Republic has transformed the traditional food court into a vibrant space where culture, heritage and dining come together. Today, Food Republic is a must-visit destination for travelers visiting Singapore and locals seeking an authentic taste of the city’s food culture.
From iconic local dishes and heritage hawker brands to live cooking experiences and diverse culinary offerings, every visit delivers the flavours, sights and atmosphere that define Singapore’s street food scene.
By partnering with passionate and award-winning hawkers while continually evolving the dining experience, Food Republic offers one of the best ways to discover authentic Singapore food in a comfortable and memorable setting.

Project Nourish

Food Republic teamed up with Food Junction, our programme co-organisers as well as programme partners (HJH Maimunah Mini, Shock Japanese & Sumber Ayam from Food Republic City Square, and Fitra Chicken Rice from Food Junction Nex) to serve nourishing meals to 300 children over 3 months, giving them strength for today and hope for a brighter future.
Frite
Collaboration with: Institute of Technical Education (ITE)
Food Republic collaborated with ITE to run a Young Hawker Entrepreneurship Incubator Programme, aimed at grooming the next generation of food and beverage champions. FRITE served as a capstone of the ITE students’ learning, allowing them to apply the concepts and skills learnt during their hawkerpreneurship project
